Some alternative beverages offered by members

For dieters, I just discovered this one:

Even Diet Snapple actually has both calories & carbs, so cut it with 1/2 to 3/4 club soda or diet tonic. I used Cran-Raspberry Diet Snapple. Delicious and very pretty pink!

If I get tired of
coffee, tea, or Crystal Lite, my favorite alternative is tonic on the rocks with a dash of bitters & a twist of lime. Here are some other drinks that MMer's have mentioned in the past.

VIRGIN CAESAR:

Rim glass with lemon juice & celery salt

3 or 4 drops Worcestershire sauce
2 or 3 drops Tabasco
Clamato Juice

1 stick of celery

(You don't need the spices if you use extra spicy Clamato unless you like it really hot!)

PLANTER'S PUNCH

2 dashes bitters
½ t. vanilla extract (preferably Mexican vanilla, if you can find it)
2 T. pineapple juice
2 T. lime juice
2 t. grenadine
3 oz. ginger ale or club soda

Mix & serve over ice.

SPICY V-8 COCKTAIL

In a tall glass, mix:

V-8 juice
2 t. Worcestershire sauce
3-5 drops Tabasco
Garlic powder
Freshly ground pepper
Juice of to ¼ lemon

Mix well & add ice

Here's one for the winter:

MULLED CIDER
(Serves 6)

12 c. apple cider
1/8 c. orange juice
Peel of 1/2 orange, cut into strips (orange part only)
1 small bay leaf
1/2 T. (packed) brown sugar
1 cinnamon stick
1 whole clove
1 whole allspice
1 T. fresh lemon juice
Pinch of salt

(3/4 c. applejack brandy--optional)...For when you go back to moderating!!!

N/A Beers

(I've excluded N/A wines as no one could recommend one)

I never drink beer but my friends always drink Odules

I like O'Doul's and Genny NA Beer.

The best NA beer I've tried is Kaliber by Guinness.

My favorite N/A beer is Pabst malt beverage.

Clausthaler-first choice...nice if you enjoy Beck's Dark

Haake Beck-second choice...nice to replace Beck's regular
