“Happiness is not a matter of intensity but of balance and order and rhythm and harmony.” – Thomas Merton

Is over-drinking throwing you off-balance? Have you forgotten what order and rhythm and harmony feel like ?

Kickstart Moderation will help you regain equilibrium.

Kickstart Moderation is a program created by long-term members of Moderation Management. We are not professionals, we are people who have struggled with overdrinking, just like you. Kickstart Moderation is not therapy, it is a compilation of strategies and tools that we have gathered and used ourselves to successfully change not only how much we drink, but how we drink.

The course content is available to you for six months from the date you registered, and is designed for you to proceed at your own pace. The weekly Kickstart Meetings and private Kickstart FB group will become your  support community.

If the requested registration donation is an obstacle on your path, please complete this form to request financial assistance.

Happy to begin moderating again, after 90 days being happy AF!

  • Kathleen Babcock says:

    Looking forward to team support

  • Pamela Healy says:

How do I access this course once I’ve signed up?

    • MaryR says:

Welcome to Team Kickstart Spring 2023 Pamela!
There is a Welcome Email on its way to you which will tell you more about what to expect during this program. Team Kickstart Spring 2023 starts on March 1st and that is when the course content will become accessible. I may open it up before and if I do, I will send all participants an email informing them the content is open.

What is offered in the program?

    Thank you

    • MaryR says:

      Hi Kathleen,
If you click on the Course tab at the top of the page and then the Kickstart Moderation Course Outline, it gives a description of the course.

  • Annaka says:

    I think I am registered. I’m hoping!

    • MaryR says:

      Hi Annaka,
You are indeed registered. If you are being redirected back to the registration page when you try to click on the course, it probably means you are not logged in. Login and see if that works, if not contact me at [email protected].

  • Karen Gross says:

I am trying to get paid to take the course, but the payment link does not seem to work

  • Becky McBoom says:

    So excited to get started!

  • Lucas says:

is it to late to join this round, and if so when does the next one start?

    • MaryR says:

      Hi Lucas,
You can still sign up for the self-guided Kickstart course and have access to the course, the Kickstart meetings and the Kickstart Facebook group. We are going to close registrations for the self-guided course in the next couple of days. The next Team Kickstart Course will begin on July 1. Registration will for the Team Kickstart will be open in a week. The course content is the same, the only difference is that you start the course at the same time as a group of people which seems to build more connections and sense of community.

  • David says:

    Hi,
I’m interested in the course and have a few questions:
I am based in Norway so can I still join up?
    When is the next course?
I do not want to use FB so would this be a stumbling block?

    Many thanks

    • MaryR says:

      Hello David,
Yes, you can join the course from Norway and begin the self-guided course at any time. Unlike the Team Kickstart Programs, there is not a specific date that the course starts. With the self-guided course, the lessons become accessible immediately after you register. Many, if not most, of our Kickstart participants do not join the private facebook group and that is fine. The facebook group is available for those who want to do daily and nightly check-ins and sign up for rosters. The evening meetings will be difficult for you to attend because of the time difference but we do have a Monday afternoon meeting that you might be able to attend.
I hope I’ve answered your questions.
